An LSI Spine Surgeon May Be Able to Relieve Your Back Pain Once and For All

An LSI Spine Surgeon May Be Able to Relieve Your Back Pain Once and For All

When you suffer from sciatica, stenosis, a bulging disc, or another spinal condition, the pain can be excruciating. It can rob you of your ability to take your morning jog or even rest comfortably. This can result in desperation and the willingness to suffer through a traumatic surgery to get any relief. But at Laser Spine Institute, we’ve found a better way to ease your pain. We’ll match you up with a spine surgeon who uses advanced endoscopic methods to treat your condition without saddling you with months of painful recovery.

Here’s how it works:

  1. A board certified staff physician reviews your MRI or CT scan to determine whether a spine surgeon at LSI can treat your condition.
  2. If you are eligible to be a patient, you travel to one of LSI’s surgery centers in Tampa, Philadelphia, or Scottsdale, and we perform a complete physical and medical history.
  3. You meet with a spine surgeon to discuss your MRI or CT scan to determine the most effective treatment option.
  4. Anesthesiology consults with you about the methods planned to keep you comfortable and you are prepped for the outpatient surgery.
  5. During the surgery, the spine surgeon makes a small incision in your back, and a series of nesting tubes are inserted into the incision, pushing muscle and other tissue aside to provide the surgeon with a clean view of the pain source.
  6. Tiny tools, including a laser and a camera are fed down the tube, and the spine surgeon operates.
  7. The tools and tube are removed, and the spine surgeon closes the incision.

This type of surgery has been highly successful, and nearly all of our patients are up and walking within hours of the surgery. Some even feel relief instantly. Recovery is also short, with nearly all patients returning to their regular activities within two weeks.

If this sounds good to you, call us today. We can review your LRI or CT scan for free today to see if we can treat your back pain.
